On closer inspection I discovered that the lenses slope inwards at the bottom which my old Ray-Ban Wayfarers did not.
Since been told there are two designs, the modern frame that does not slope inwards and the classic which these are that do.

Think these are pretty good. strap which goes behind dogs head and one for under the jawline - only offer support and aid to keep goggles in place with no discomfort to animal. The straps are adjustable. Dog can see clearly through goggles. My dog who sits on window sill in sunshine every day wore them all afternoon without any issues.
